Selecting a Winner

 

Once all designs have been submitted (by March 13th) the UMass Store will narrow down the designs to the top 5 from which the campus community will be able to vote for their favorite. During voting, you will be able to select your favorite design as well as the charity you would like 10% of profits to go to.

 

Voting will take place March 23rd through March 27th (after Spring Break)

 

The winning design will be printed and available to purchase at the UMass Store as of April 1st!




Guidelines

 

All eligible designs must adhere to the following guidelines:


  • No references to drugs, alcohol, politics, vulgar images, slang words or controversial subjects (all submissions subject to review)

  • Any use of University Trademarks (i.e. “UMASS”, “UMASS AMHERST”, “UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS” or any existing logos such as athletic marks) must meet the following regulations:

    • Appear separate from the design - either above or below the design or on a second location (i.e. sleeve, back, or front if the main design is on the back)

    • Be one or two colors only (as more colors will increase the price of the final product)



Disclaimers

 

Please note that the designer surrenders all rights to their artwork to the UMass Store and therefore is not entitled to financial compensation if their design is selected and sold in store.


The UMass Store reserves the right to make minor adjustments to the artwork (i.e. font and placement of university wordmarks) should it not adhere to brand regulations or the above guidelines.
